Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you use our service, we collect basic usage data such as which features you use, how often you use them, and general interaction patterns. This helps us improve the product.

When you submit text for humanization, that text is sent to our servers for processing. See the "Text Processing" section below for how we handle it.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Anti-Turnitin service
  • To improve our humanization engines and product experience
  • To send important service updates (account changes, billing, security)
  • To understand usage patterns through anonymized analytics

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your submitted text to train AI models.

Text Processing

This is the part most people care about, so we'll be direct: we do not store your text.

When you submit text for humanization, it is processed in real-time by our engines. Once the humanized result is returned to you, the original and processed text are immediately deleted from our servers. There is no database of user submissions. No logs. No way for anyone — including us — to retrieve your text after processing is complete.

Data Retention

Your account data (email, subscription status, usage counts) is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove all associated data within 30 days.

Submitted text is never retained. It exists in memory only during processing and is deleted immediately after the result is delivered.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Anti-Turnitin. This collects anonymized data about page views, session duration, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users.

We also use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Anti-Turnitin:

  • Supabase for authentication and account management
  • Cloudflare for hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection
  • Google Analytics for anonymized usage analytics

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you want full details on how they handle data.

Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 (256-bit encryption). Your text is secure from the moment you paste it until the result is returned.

Because we don't store submitted text, there is no database of user content that could be breached. This is by design — the safest data is data that doesn't exist.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your account data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential analytics tracking

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@antiturnitin.com.

Children's Privacy

Anti-Turnitin is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it and all associated data promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Anti-Turnitin after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
